Wiccan & Pagan Rituals.

Nothing here needs a coven or a robe. A candle, a stone, ten quiet minutes. Each rite is written plainly on a vintage scroll — read it once, then do it slowly.

The Beginner's Candle Ritual

The simplest, most powerful ritual you can perform tonight.

Choose a candle poured with your intention in mind. Sit in a quiet room. Speak your intention aloud, once, plainly. Light the candle. Watch the flame for a full minute without looking away. Let the candle burn down over the coming days, only in your presence.

The ritual is not the candle. The ritual is the minute of undivided attention. The candle only holds the space.

A Samhain Shadow Work Ritual

For the thinning of the veil.

On the night of the dark moon closest to Samhain, place your obsidian mirror on a dark cloth. Light your shadow candle beside it. In a soft voice, name one thing you have been unwilling to look at in yourself.

Gaze into the mirror. Do not force. Whatever surfaces — thought, memory, image — welcome it. Write it down without editing. Close by thanking the shadow, extinguishing the candle, and sleeping with the journal beneath your pillow.

The Winter Solstice Return-of-Light Ritual

For the year's longest night.

At dusk on the solstice, place your selenite wand and your solstice candle on the western windowsill. As the sun sets, light the candle. Speak aloud one thing you are releasing with the old year, and one thing you are calling into the new.

Let the candle burn through the night. In the morning, sweep the selenite wand from crown to feet — you have crossed into the returning light.
